What is your beautiful tourist spot in your country/place? Ours are Taal Volcano, our smallest volcano; Mayon Volcano, once called the perfect cone is beautiful; the beaches like Boracay, Dakak; El Nido in Palawan; Baguio, our summer capital... We have so many amazing places. I´m sure my fellow Filipino will tell the others...

Here in Cape Town it has to be Table Mountain. Once at the top you have the most magnificent view of the Cape. Added to this is the wonderful wild life you can see whilst on the mountain

In the US, there are so many, also but in Minnesota, where we live, NOT so many. I would have to say that the drive along the Mississippi River along the river bluffs is very beautiful. And if it takes your breath away, Minnesota´s own Mayo Clinic close by to revive you!

Anywhere around Loch Lomond is stunning but being in Scotland it is very hard to list one place as there are sooooooo sooooooooooo many and it depends on what you like....scenery, old buildings, castles etc

Hmmm wondering if the Scottish Tourist Board will award me a fee for the above endorsement

Our rivers, wood´s montain´s,........lot of places

Ben Nevis, Ben Lomond, Ben anything. Got to agree with Baybie here, there are too many in Scotland but I guess one of the best is the Northern Lights.

25.May 2008 02:13

I have to agree with the other Scottish people. Some of the views here are stunning, anywhere in the Highlands is worth a visit, for the views alone, Plus if you´re interested in history we have a lot of it. I remember being dragged round almost every castle in scotland as a child. It´s a shame I never really appreciated it at the time, since I´m so fascinated by history now.

The Northern lights seen from the Shetland Isles are a sight to remember!

So many cities of art in Italy, full of interesting historical sites , museums, and beautiful buildings & churhes.
Moreover there are sceneries for all tastes: majestic mountains in the north, wonderful sandy beaches and crystalline seas in the south, and the biggest active vulcano in Europe - Etna- in Sicily.
Up to you the choice!!

Northern Ireland. I dont think I need say anymore . But I will.....
Blackmountain, Cavehill, and Belfast Castle are outstanding. Also, we have The Giant´s Causeway, also Carrick-a-Rede Bridge (not for the fainthearted, like me..). Toooo many to list. The weather isnt always great (That´s why we´re known as The Emerald Isle), but the history is facinating. I couldn´t live anywhere else

It´s very green, Puppylove! One other outstanding castle I forgot to mention (how could I...I used to live 10mins away from it) is Carrick Castle. Its amazing. Its from Normandy times, and its now a museum, dedicated to that era.

new nurses here gets only about Php8,000-9,000 a month so a lot of them go outside the country to earn more

25.May 2008 07:13

I thought that. Our wages do tend to be better, no offence. In fact it was a great surgeon outside of the UK, who did my daughter´s breast surgery 2 weeks ago. She looks great

Greece is a small country but with beautiful places for people to visit, the islands -both in aegean and ionian sea- if you are a sun-and-sea lover, lots of antiquities (parthenon, delfi, olympia, mycenae, knossos-phaestos, etc, lots of byzantine monuments throughout the country), even picturesque mountain villages (zagorochoria, pilio), Meteora (huge rocks like meteors with monasteries built on top), mount Athos (beautiful monasteries dating from the 10th century, but women not allowed to enter )... ok, these came to my mind at first thought

...STRATFORD ONT... SO MANY MORE GREAT CANADIAN PLACES TO SEE IT TOO LONG TO LIST THEM ALL!!!...
I absolutely love Stratford...they make the best sandwiches at that little cafe on the river where you can go up to the window to order...you might not have a clue what im talking about but if you do...well you know lol...point being i love Stratford.

I´m pretty impressed with any place in the world that has hills because where i come from the ground is completely flat...for miles...its terrible.
